On behalf of the company behind The British Bake Off, who asked for our help, we would like to spread the word within our childcare community and whether anyone knows any young bakers who love baking! 

They are delighted to announce that applications are now open for the 8th series of Junior Bake Off; a Channel 4 programme that celebrates the culinary talent and ambition of the younger generation.

They are looking for young budding bakers between 9-12 years old.

Filming would take place from July 2022, but our applications close on Sunday 13th March 2022.

Last year they had a great turn out of applications and are hoping that many young talented bakers out there will apply this year too! The show is a huge hit with its warm hearted and wholesome vibe and is the most amazing experience for any young baker lucky enough to make it to the tent!
